Resolutions Passed at the Extraordinary General Meeting/Extension of Target Date

The Board of Directors of Union Steel Holdings Limited (the "Company") is pleased to announce that at the Extraordinary General Meeting ("EGM") of the Company held on 15 November 2007, all resolutions relating to matters set out in the Notice of the meeting dated 30 October 2007 were duly passed.

The Company also wishes to announce that the Target Date referred to in the Circular dated 30 October 2007 issued for the EGM has been extended by mutual agreement from 16 November 2007 to 30 November 2007.
